[Pjbr Pbess Association.] WELLINGTON', March 18. , :• Mr R. Seir.plo, organiser of iho Federation of Labour, returned to Wellington from Australia to-day. Mr Semple stated that he was veil •received, and had he wished he could have obtained £5000,, instead of £IOOO, for oganising' the Social Democratic Party. He was surprised at the knowledge displayed by the Australian public of the New Zealand Labour movement. Broken Hill was the stronghold of unionism/ and tlie Australian Miners' Association was willing, if necessary, to assist the Social Democratic Party with funds.
