OUTBREAK IN COLOMBO. THE NATIVES STAMPEDING. MEN DYING IN THE STREETS. By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyrigni. (Received March 18, 9 a.m.) SYDNEY, March IS. Advices from Colombo show that there is a severe outbreak of plague among natives. FanTfcs have set in, and certain sections of the native population are stampeding to tho south of India, followed-by numerous cases of men found dying in tho streets and public places. Certain steamship companies have discontinued booking passengers to Singapore aud the Far East. This being the homeward season, this action is regarded seriously.
