MOVEMENT FOR DAILY SERVICE. CHRISTCHURCH JOINS IN. The - Greymouth Borough Council w H rote to the City Council last night suggesting 4 that Christchurch should co-operate in securing a daily mail service between the two towns, The letter stated that in the past Greymouth had been badly handicapped in the matter of communication, "but now that the gap in the railway communication was so short a daily service should be established. The sister local < bodies on the West Coast were unanimously of this opinion, and it was intended to make 'representations to the Government.
Oil the motion of Councillor Hayward the request was acceded to. . »
