' , RANGERS CLUB. Hie fourth annual meeting nf the Christchiirch Rangers Amateur Foothall Club was held in its rooms, Armagh Street, on Thursday evening, at S p.m., when Mr H. Nicholson presided over a large attendance of members. TIIO balance-sheet, which shoivcd a substantial credit balance, was adopted, | The election of officers resulted as ■ follows:—Patron, his Worship the 'Mayor (Mr H. .Holland); president, Mr R. E. M'Dougall; vice-presidents, Mr J. M'Coombs, M.P., Dr Sandstein, T>r Morkane, Mr W. Sproston, Mr 11. Bradley, Mr F. Harris, Mr 15. W. Bartlett, Mr E. Mahan and Blr H. Nicholson. The following committees were electI *d:— General committee—Messrs Jones, Ranger, ShiLston, MMntyro, Gordon [ end officers ex officio; selection commit- , tee —Messrs Sproston, Harris and Beiitlle,y J delegates to Association—Messrs (Nicholson, Mahan and Hvslop: club captain—Mr C. Hyslop; honorary secletary—Mr F. Osborno Hen.(.ley ; treasurer—Mr I>. M'Corninck; honorary auditor—Mr E. Mahan. It was decided to enter two teams [in the competitions, namely, Junior Third Grade. A vote of thanks was passed to tho retiring officers and tho donors of cheques, etc., for the enthusiastic interest shown in the welfare e£ tho club.
