DOLORES.
Mdlle Antonia Dolores, who may be described as the most charming singer who ever visited New Zealand, is re* turning to Christchurch. Dolores is such a favourite artiste in this country that the people look on her witli what may bo termed a proprietary interest. . It is safe to stato that no visiting artist ever gained the affections of tho people to such an extent as is the case with Dolores. This charming singer is so well known that introductory notices are almost unnecessary. It is three years since Dolores last toured the dominion, and during the interim the diva has visited all the leading countries of the world. In short, this great artiste has achevied further laurels, and returns' to the dominion with honours of the older world thickly clustered on her. Dolores's repertory is more extensive than ever. At her Christchurch concerts many new compositions mil bo sung. A hearty welcome awaits the return of Dolores. The box plan opens on Tuesday morning next.
