The prospectus of the United Kingdom Employers' Defence Union has been issued. Two manufacturers have guaranteed £50,000 a piece, and the rest of the members of the. Union are invited to complete the £50,000,000. Subscriptions will be operative only when the whole is guaranteed. All calls will be made pro rata according to the amount guaranteed, and will not exceed 7A per cent annually.
