Woolston, playing four men short, was defeated by West Christchurch by 61 runs. The scores were: —West Chrietchurch 79 (Watts 21, Eady 14, Jarrett 15); Woolston 18 (Pengelly 8). For West, Watte and Williams, for Woolston Pengelly took the wickets. Playing at New Brighton, Rawhiti defeated the Surf Club by 78 runs. Surf Club made 18 (Budd 8) and Rawhiti replied with 96 (J. Haynes 31, E. Henwood 18, Ainger 12). Fraser and Jarvis bowled best for Surf Club and JJette and Bellamy for Rawhiti.
