FARM LABOURER'S SUICIDE. At Waikari yesterday afarnvtlabquror named James M'Gough, employed by Mr G. Arres, committed suicide by hanging himself. Air Arres told deoeased that he could have a week's holiday, and.on Monday'ho left for Christchurch, but Returned on Wednesday evening. He was about the place as usual on Thursday, "but' he, did not put in an appearanco on Friday morn-_ m &- ' '.'"''■ ' ,', Mr Arres went to ins room ana, finding that his bed had been slept in; concluded that he' had gone to Christ-, church show by the early train. Later in the day Mr Aires had occasion to go to the 'granary, and there found M'Gough hanging dead. Deceased was'• about thirty-fivo years of ago and single. ■.
