SHIPS IN PERIL.

AND CREWS STARVE WHILE FOG BLOCKS RESCUE. THE STORM ON THE LAKES. By Telegraph—Presg Association—Copyright. (Recoived November 14, noon.) OTTAWA, November 13. From further reports of the disasters from the Great Lakes it is estimated that six freighters sank, drowning I*9B sailors. The overturned freighter is now believed to be the Regina not the Wexford. Divers who went to seek to identify the vessel were compelled to return owing to the force of the gale. The lifeboats were watersoaked. Cargo and bodies strew the ehores of Lake Huron, and the thick fog prevents succour being sent to many other vessels known to be in danger.
