$ ANNUAL MEETING
The annual meeting of tho AmberJey Defence Rifle Club was hold on Thursday, when there was a good attendance. The balance-sheet showed a small credit bit-lance and was adopted. Tlio following officers were elected : Patron. Mr G. Forbes.. M.l\ (re-elect-ed); president. Mr W. A. Nicholls (reelected); deputy-president, Mr N. M.'Adam ; vice-presidents, Drs Baldvi'vn and Perrv, and Messrs G. P. Greenwood, G. A. M'Loan, H. Franks, J Savage. J. Thornton, B. Burland and G. B.' Starkv Sen. ; treasurer, Mr Burland (re-elected); secretary, Mr 11, M'Beath (re-elected); ammunition custodian, Mr AV. Frew (re-elected); coininittee. the president, depntv-presi-dent. treasurer, secretary, and Messrs W. Traill. S. Frew, V>. Frew, A\. Boyes. F. Hayman. W James, \Y. Holton and R. Had lor. Votes of thanks were passed to Messrs Burland and W.
