Lieutenant Evans has received several wireless messages from Dr Mawson, via Australia, including one of condolence in connection with the death of his wife. THE RELIEF FUNDS. The Antarctic Committee's operations are fettered through the non-arrival of large overseas contributions. The officials state that it would be a kindness to the beueiiciaries to remit promptly. GEOLOGICAL RECORDS. Messrs Griffiths, Thomas Raymond. Priestly and Debenliani will shortly commence preparing the geological results of Scott's expedition. It is expected that these, with Mr F. Wright, tho Canadian scientist, will prepare a paper for the British Association's meeting 7iext week. RECEPTION TO THE OFFICERS. The Geographical Society will entertain Captain Scott's officers and scientists at a great reception at the Albert Hall, where a lecture will bo given by Lieutenant. Evans.
