Golden'Mora was done with at the entrance to tho straight, vrliero Oarolus took charge. Ladrone, Scottish Star and Canute moved up below the distance, but Carolus won comfortably by a length from Ladrone, with Martian Maid thro© lengths away, a head in front of Scottish otar and Canute. Winning Way was first to show oiit and at the end of a furlong she had Federal as her nearest attendant, the pair being well clear of Kilmeny, Kimona and Medallist.
