Days' Motor Cycle Trials. King Dick I Singers again Victorious. The results of the recent Motor Cycle , Trials from Christchurch to Hanmer, ; Cheviot and back, and thence to Akaroa, has caused a considerable amount of interest. The most remarkable feature of the trials was the marvellous achievements attained by the i"IXED ENGINE Machines. Prior to the contest it was considered almost an impossible task to ask any 3ih.p. fixed engine to complete a journey ■ so "severe as the one selected. Yet in the Private Owners' Class. Mr. Pinwell, on a h.p. SINGER (FIXED ENGINE) not only completed the journey, but secured Second Place, being beaten only by a machine fitted with a 3-SPEED GEAR, Mr. Bullock, on a 3Jh.p. KING DICK (Fixed Engine) also securing Third Place. These are the performances that have established a reputation for the King Dick and Singer Motors irreproachable. When a machine can, in the hands of practically novices, come through thss ordeal with such excellent results, is there any wonder that the demand for these machines is daily increasing. King pick and Singer Motors are built to suit Colonial Roads and Conditions, which is the secret of their success. » Shipments now arriving ex Athenic and Turakina; also latest designed Montgomery Side Cars. Inspection invited. ■p.S.—We make a speciality of Motor Repairs irrespective of makes. Ail work I executed by motor experts. JONES BROS. LTD. 2ls2K TOW!R • - (uaenfflssß
