SriTi/riNCr Liquor.—A charge of supplying liquor to a prohibited person was preferred against John Henry Carlton, who did not appear/ Accused was fined £0 and costs. Procuring Liquor.—Jessie Mitchell Warren, to .a charge of procuring liquor while prohibited, pleaded guilty and was convicted and ordered to pay the costs. , . Adjournkd.—George Mercer, licensee of the Black Horse Hotel, Spreydon, was charged, on three informations, with selling liquor to persons already in a state of intoxication. Mercer was also charged with permitting drunkenness on his licensed premises. The cases were adjourned for a week, 011 the application of Mr Cassidv. Maintenanck. —James M'Bride (Mr Hunt)'' was charged with being the father of an unborn illegitimate child. The Court was cleared during .the hearing of the case. _ Defendant was adjudged the putative father, and ordered lt> find sureties.
