THE BOCHUM DISASTER. FEELING REFERENCE BY THE KAISER. United Frets Aisociation—By Electrio Telegraph—Copyright. '(Received August 10, 10 a.m.) LONDON, August 9. A message from Berlin says that the Kaiser, speaking at the Krupp Centenary, feelingly referred to the Bochum calamity. Of the dead, 101 have been recovered, and sixteen are still missing. A. New York message says that a collision occurred last night at Elyria, Ohio, between a Cleveland Southwestern and Columbus Suburban motordriven car and a Baltimore and Ohio train. The motorman and several car passengers are reported to have been killed.
A Boston telegram states that two enginemon and one passenger were killed, a spectator dropped dead and over forty passengers were injured through the derailing of a train to-day. The train was wrecked.
An inquest touching the death of the infant daughter of Mr W. T. Smith, Antigua Street, was held by Mr H. W. Bishop, coroner, to-day. ]) r Courtney Nedwill stated that ho had made a post-mortem examination, and was of opinion that death was duo to cardiac syncope. A verdict to this effect was returned.
