Mr J. Craigie, M.P., arrived from Wellington this morning. Amongst tho passengers by the Maori' from Lyttelton this morning were the Rev Penny and Mr C J. Reakes. Messrs 11. M. Macdonald. P. Hallenstein and W. Wood were passengers by the Maori from Wellington this morning. At the White Hart Hotel this morning the commercial travellers of Canterbury made a presentation to_ one of their number, Mr G. W. Bagrie, who has been just recently married. Mr Bagrie, who is one of tho representatives of Messrs Sargood Son and Ewen, w-as the recipient of a very handsome silver afternoon tea service.
