Following are the scores:—Singles—Bennett O.) beat .Hunter (S.C.) 9-2; Longton (O.) b?nt Potter (S.C.) 9-6; Brown (O.) beat Adams (S.C.) 9-3; Menzies (O.) beat Hulbert (S.C.) 9-o. Doubles—Bennett and London (O 1 beat Hunter and Potter (S.C.) 9-5- Browii mid Monzies (0.1 beat Adams and Hulbert (S.C.) 9-4. Totals—Opawa 51, South Christchurch 25. A tennis match was played on the Ashburton Domain on Thursday afternoon between teams representing the St Marv's and St Andrew's Clubs. The latter won bv 43 games, tho scores being St Mary's 81 St Andrew' 3 124. ' Tinwald Club defeated the Ashburton Baring Square Club by 71 games to 61.
