[Per Press Association.] DV'NEDIN, March 21. At a meeting of the committee in connection with the coming band contest it was decided to recommend the South Island Bands' Association to appoint Lieutenant W. G. Bentley as judge. It was reported that, there was a probability of at least two bands coming from Australia to the contest, and that several of tlie best North Island Bands would bo competitors.
