At, a meeting of the Liberal Party last night it was resolved :—" Tliat this meeting of Liberals of ilataura place on record their high appreciation of the services to the dominion of Sir Joseph Ward as leader of tho Liborals, and congratulate him on the success of his efforts to place beneficent legislation on the Statute Book, and on his administration of tho Post and Telegraph Department. High Imperialistic ideals are an important part in Imperial affairs. and this meeting expresses the sincere hope that at an early date lie will again resume tho leadership of the Liberal Party.
