In the Legislative Assembly, Mr Wade moved the adjournment of the House to discuss tho incompetent managoment of the brick works. Mr A. H. Griffith denied the alleged incompetency, and declared that the works had saved tho country £3OO weekly, and would shortly save it £IOOO.
Tho Legislative Assembly declined to ratify tlio Legislative Council's amendments to tlie Industrial Arbitration Bill, and returned with a message disagreeing. The Council will discuss tho messago to-day. Several members hinted at a probable crisis. The clause dealing with preference to unionists is the chief clauso of the disagreement.
