RIFLE SHOOTING.
[Per Press Association.] WANGANUI, December 28. The rifle mooting was continued today in heavy, continuous rain. Tho Manawatu Match was won by Sergeant Simmons (Waitohi) with 49, taking £4, Rifleman Walker (Christchurch), with 48, taking £2 10s, and Rifleman Willoughby (Wanganui) £2. The other pmetakers wero M'lvor (Wellington), Oliver Balthrop (Eeilding), R. J. King (Opaki), Quartermain (Wanganui) and Revers (Taradalo). The Masterton Match is proceeding.
