AMUSEMENTS.
OPERA HOUSE. Vaudeville patrons attended the Opera House in force last night, when the various turns met with general .approval. The same programme will bo presented this evening. WAINONI PARK. Many holiday visitors have attended Wainoni Park to see the Zoo. The wild animals are in perfect condition and quite settled in their new home. On F 'riday an interesting programme of amusements, including a naval battle and Punch and Judy, will be given, and a fireworks disnlay will be held in tho evening. A concert on the open-air stage will precede the fireworks and tho Linwood Brass Band will play selections all day.
