At a sub-committee meeting of the Crcclie Kindergarten Association held this week it was reported that all arrangements had been satisfactorily concluded in reference to the creche to be provided for children to-morrow at tlio Show Grounds. Mrs Cooper reported that the thanks of the Association were due to the managers of Montague's Toy Shop and' the D.I.C. for their kindness in giving a number of toys to amuse the children. The Association states that mothers need feel no anxiety that their children will not be well looked after, as they will be under the care of the following ladies ; —Mesdamcs Taylor (president), Saunders, Cooper, Burgoyne, Millar, Smith, Neville, Anderson, Jackson. Wells, Cunningham, M'Laggan and Holland. Ample provision has been made for sleeping, feeding and amusing the little ones and a compartment has been provided for mothers with infants to rest in. The words " Creche and Mothers' Rest" will be in large letters 011 the marquees. The secretary was requested to thank the Defence Department for its kindness m lending the marquees. MAT SUMMER COLD.
