Tho cause of the difficulties wna that tho incidents were construed in Germany into international affronts and aroused great resentment. The Ambassador and Mr M'Kcnna were the victims of newspaper errors, and he warned tho country that if falso news were recorded bo believed that the- public i'er-r- L---menfc would some day go beyond Government's control.
