Xote.—November 10 (Show Day)— The usual letVr carriers' town delivery will be made up to ll.no a.m., and in the suburbs only one delivery will be made. Alphon.se Fougcroux, a workman in tho Kochefort Arsenal, has invented a clever apparatus for saving the officers and men in a wrecked .submarine. It is a .simple apparatus, consisting of a kind of box, which is fixed to the bridge of he submarine, but. in case of accident, can be entered by the men on board, be released ami Hoat with them to the surface. Fougeroux has already invented an apparatus for raising submarines after wrecking.
