Mr Breen doomed the agreement unanimous. The bone of contention had been in regard to dairy utensil*. These had hitherto received lis per day and he meant to ask for a dominion award as this award would prejudice the chances of men in Wellington, Christchurch and Auckland, whero the makers received Is 4d an hour. Mr Pryor objected to the matter being re-opened after settlement. Mr Breen contended that there should be no award till parties were heard in Christchurch, Wellington and Auckland.
