A deputation from the Interparliamentary Union waited on the Premier and asked that the Government should take tho earliest opportunity to mediate in Tripoli, if possible, in concert with other Powers. iMr Asquith and Sir E. Grey explained the difficulty of acting until there was a prospect of success. The Speaker fivmly repressed Mr D. Mason's attempts to move tho adjournment of tlie, House of Commons to discuss the atrocities. MORE FIGHTING. It is reported from Rome that an Italian brigade occupied nn advanced position at the oasis, and occupied the Hainidioh fort. After a slight resistance tho enemy was driven back. Tho recapture of Derna is denied.
