A tower is to be built near Calais, at tho very spot where, in July two years ago, M, Bloriot set out on his memorable flight across the Channel. Tho tower is to be 450 ft high and 15ft wide near tho base. Tho landlord called at a house for his rent. A little boy answered tho door, and told him his mother would pay hirn if he called on Saturday morning. " Why can't sho pay before then?" asked the landlord. " Because wo are leaving oji Friday night," replied tho boy.
