Twenty-five thousand pounds h'i notes and gold have been found hidden! underneath a sidewalk near the scena of the robbery from the Bank of Montreal at New "Westminster on September 15. . The robbers were unable to carry, off the booty and hoped to return. Other notes have been found circulating in Eastern Canada. The police have renewed their aotiv* ity, and Pinkerton detectives are hopeful of tracing the thieves shortly.
