News has been receive* 1 in Cliristehurrh that Bishop Grimes, on tho eve of the .jubilee of the creation of the ChriHtohurcli diocese and of his consecration as the first bishop, has been uppouifceil by his Holiness the Pope an AHflistant Bishop at the Pontifical Throne, and has been numbered amongst the prelates of the Papal Household,
