THE LATE MR T. E. TAYLOR.
[From Orn Cot*t*'es'pcnt*e?ct ] WAIMATE, August 14. The T. E. Taylor memorial public gathering yesterday—Mr N. Francis, Mayor, presiding—was attended by nearly 500 people. Most of the institutions Mr Tavlor was prominent in were represented by speakers. The Labour Party proposed a resolution of regret, sympathy and appreciation. A collection for the memorial fund realised £4 los.
