HEAT WAVE AND RAINSTORM. United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. (Received July 5, 8.5 a.m.) VANCOUVER, July 4. A sweltering heat wave at Quebeo was followed by a terrific rainstorm. The streets were flooded, and business was brought to a standstill. Panics occurred on several river steamers, but as far as is known there were no fatalities.
