iuYSTERY OF A WOMAN'S DEATH. LPkr Press Association.] AUCKLAND, June 14. The extraordinary case of an unknown woman being found dead in the house of a well-known resident at Kingsland is at present occupying the attention of the Auckland police. Tlio whole affair is at present a mystery, and it is believed that further investigation will lead to the disclosure of sensational particulars. According to the information at present in the hands of tho detectives, a woman last night called at the house of a well-known Kingsland resident, and. although an utter stranger, prevailed upon the lady of tho house to take her in. Subsequently she was allowed to lie down, and a few hours later was found dead. The police describe the body as that of a woman of between thirty and forty years of age, of stout build, and with brown hair, and it is believed, that sho came from the countrv.
