PARIS, May 2. The troops were not hidden as they were formerly, but instead- patrolled the streets in strong detachments and squares and overawed a hundred thousand -workmen who were holiday-' making. There was a number of minor disturbances, and eighty-one arrests were made. Thirteen policemen 4 twenty-five soldiers and eighty civilians were injured.
