WEST COAST NEWS.
[Per Press Association.] GREYMOUTH, August 5. Nothing fresh has taken place in connection with the Paparoa mine, which continues idle. The men are distributing themselves through the district. The following were exported from Greymoutb during July:—Timber, 3,949,312 superficial feet; bricks, 82 tons; coke, 207 tons; sleepers, 4052; wool, 33 hales; flax, 27 bales; State coal, 21,110 tons; Blackball coal, 12,959 tons; Brunner coal, 2741 tons; Paparoa coal. 4656 tons.
