The General's way of taking a rest Ija.s been to continue lna work and his travels. Ho feels that need of rest all the same, and hopes to be able to compromise with his lady supporter. By reason of his years the veteran head of- the Salvation Army cannot possibly continue his work as he has done in the past, but at the same time he finds it impossible to stop altogether, and so hopes to nee the lady's gift for , the benefit of the Army and observe her condiuoiiii by working less strenuously*
