WEST COAST TIMBER.
[FltO-SI OVjR CoitRESrOXDENT,] GREYMOUTH, August 2. It is gratifying to be able to record the fact that the demand for timber is once again improving, the local millers having a number of orders to fulfil this week. The large cargo carrier Koniata is on berth for Lyttelton, Timaru and Dunedin, whilst the Ennordalo is loading for Australian ports. In addition several small shipments are being made to New Zealand porta, notably Gisborno and. Wanganui. The indications are certainly propitious.
