The following entries have, been received for the Biinedin band contest in October:—
Brass Band Contest—Mornington, South Canterbury Battalion, Woolston, Limvood, Kaikorai, Lyttelton Marine. Dunedin Citizens, Ashburton. Temperance, Hibernian (Invereargill). The music will be " Souvenir do Richard "Wagner," a selection from Wagner's oneras.
