THEATRE ROYAL. The final presentation of " Pete" by Messra Clarke and Meynell's Company at the Theatre Royal on Saturday was witnessed by a large audience and the drama went well. This evening the company will present the stirring play " The Hypocrites," which created a very favourable impression. in Christchurch some time ago. HIS MAJESTY'S THEATRE. The new programme of the Path© Piotures was shown at two performances on Saturday, and on both occasions the house was well filled. The principa I attraction was afforded by the chronomegaphone items, a/mon'g which was Harry Lauder's song, " I'm the Saftest o' the Family." The other pictures were also well received. Tho two performances at the Colos*ewuni on Saturday were well attended awl the varied selection of pictures shown was full of interest.
