THE LATE MR BAUME.
[Pjiii I'iusss Association.] AUCKLAND, July 31. The funeral of the late Mr P. E. Baume took place this afternoon, tho remains being interred in Waikumete cemetery. The procession, in which numbers of Masonic Lodges took part, was an exceedingly long one, and among those who attended were the Prime Minister (Sir Joseph Ward) and many other members of Parliament and 'representatives of public bodies.
