Mr T. A. Coghlan, in a letter to tho " Standard, I '' says that Mr John Foster Fraser c.id his best, but his book was written under conditions tending to inaccuracy and superficiality. Mr Coghlan concludes: "The Australians have shortcomings and limitations, but they hold fast to the gospel of hard work."
