DAIRY PRODUCE.
NEW SCHEME FOR DISPOSAL. [Per Press Association.] DUNEDIN, July 30. The South Island Dairy Association, as tho result of a conference with representatives of the dairy produce exporting firms, some of' whom came from as far north as Taranaki, lias just propounded a new scheme for the handling of produce through the Association. Under the old system, buyers had to run about all over the dominion making arrangements. Tho new scheme, which has been put before factory men, with a reuuest for a definite reply, provides for the concentration of dairy produce and its disposal through the Association, as a central body, either by monthly sales at the chief ports or by consignment to selected firms in London.
