Mr John Foster Fraser, in a letter in reply to Mr T. A. Coghlaiij maintains that owing to Australia's climate the third generation of British settlers begins to show deterioration. Constant mixture of' the old stock of blood with tho Australian is needed to maintain its virility. Circumstances will always bring to Australia good material for producing a line race.
