The match against Otago will he commenced to-morrow, and will be continued on Monday and Tuesday. The team is" due back in Christchurch on Wednesday evening, and will commence the first test match against New Zealand at Lancaster Park on Friday next. The New Zealand Cricket Council has written to the Mayor asking him to declare a half-holiday on Friday, March llj upon which date the Test Match will be commenced in Christchurch. His Worship has reserved his decision in the matter till to-morrow.
