THE NAVAL INSTALLATIONS. United Press Astoeiation —'By Electrio Telegraph—Copyright. (Received March 3, 10.26 a.m.) SYDNEY, March 3. H.M.S. Pioneer picked up and answered H.M.S. Powerful's wireless message from the North Cape on Thursday night. The following night the Pioneer's apparatus was dismantled in order to instal a more powerful one. H.M.S. Cambrian's gear is also down, otherwise it is claimed that the warships would have got the messages Mr Pike received. Within a ehort time, most of the ships on the Australian station will be fitted with improved instruments similar to those ou the Powerful. It is expected that they ,will be able to transmit receive regular messages to and ftSBH New Zealand.
