At a. meeting of 'the committee of the Southland Coursing Club to-night the special committee appointed to go into the evidence in regard to the ownership of the b and w b Diffident at the final, meeting' of the 1908 season that it had examined forty sheets of typewritten matter, and had. decided, to advise o the club to recommend to ' the New Zealand Coursing Association — " That M. Breen, of Hastings, be disqualified for life for signing a declaration which the dob • has - every reason to believe wa3 false ' with regard to Diffident, and that the club requests that the matter be dealt with at a special meeting of the New Zealand Coursing 'Association at Invercargill at the time of the Waterloo Cup Meeting on July 9." The. recommendation was carried unanimously.
