• ■ - : — « SYDENHAM v. ALBION. [FltOM OITR CORRESPONDENT.] ' ' DUNEDIN, April 10. A Second Grade Sydenbam team from Christchurcli met Albion Club's Second Grade players at the north ground to-day. The conditions were good, but no brilliant play was seen. Sydenham went to the wickets first and made 48 runs, the chief contributor being G. B. Wilson (13). Albion made a poor show, all being- disposed of for 11 runs. The Christchurch boys went in again and made 54 for four wickets (Winsor 80). . ' A cricket match, was played at Sunnyeido yesterday between Sunhyside find a team selected - by Mr A. Lawrenco. ■ Sunnyside scored 185 (Porter 53, Hibberd 45, J. Chapman 30). Lawrence's team replied with 135 (Young 47, Rowe 22, Neild 21, Fowkes £0)./ For the winners Porter took five wickets for 51 runs. Chapman three for 42 and James two for 24; For the lasers Bennett took four wickots for 40 runs. A match was played at Kirwee on Good Friday between a town team and a team, representing the Malrern AsGociation, and resulted in a "win for the former by 107 runs on the first innings.N Scores:— Town 179 (Johnston 20, Russell 40, Goldsmith 12, Watson 36, Sinclair 11, Ashley 33). Malvern Association 72 (Boulnois 13, Thomas 19), and 185 for seven wickets (W.^Wright 41, Shannon 18, Boulnois 10, Locker 17, Atiderson 20 not out, M'Beath 19, R. Wright 37).
