[Pee Press Association.] FEILDING, January 2. The Feilding district had a very satisfactory year. There was only one case of infectious disease last year, and not one eerious crime. The weather has been very wet and boisterous during the'last few days, but was fine yesterday. The crops and 'grass are in advance, and there are good prospects for , the farming oommuniy. DXJNEDIN, January 2. The gold exported from Otago during 1908 totalled 97,8440z, valued at £395,809.
