ILLEGALLY SELLING LIQUOR.
[Pek Press Association.] NAPIER, August •*.. Judo-ment was delivered to-day in tho case brought by tho police against Nellie Mugivon, waitress at tho Trocadoro Restaurant, for illegally selling liquor. A similar prosecution against tho proprietor, W. Reading, had failed, but. in the present caeo the Magistrate held that a breach had been committed, and imposed a fine of £2. He refused to increase the fine to the amount necessary for an appeal on facts, and notice to appeal on a point of law was then given.
