Weddel and Co., has been appointed a member of the Departmental Committee to inquire how far and in what manner the general supply, distribution and price of meat in the United Kingdom are controlled oi affected by combination of firms or companies. Lord Robert Cecil is chairman, and the committee includes four members of the House of Commons representative of the Boards of Trade and Agriculture, also an expert in the meat trade.
